EMIS-X: the future of health technology
Our new EMIS-X® application is now in active rollout to all EMIS Web® practices across England. It introduces features which have been designed to enhance your day-to-day experience and improve patient interactions and outcomes such as clinical views and new instant messaging, to name but a few.
As the number one clinical system provider in the UK we understand the need to evolve and improve to support clinicians, so we’re rolling out the next phase of EMIS-X, our new cloud-based technology platform. It will add value and functionality onto our existing EMIS Web product, improving your workflows and boosting patient interactions and outcomes.
All practices will be sent activation communications as well as a set-up guide which provides more information about EMIS-X. There are also a range of resources available on Enlivio Go and Enlivio Learn.

EMIS-X will continue to evolve
We’re taking an evolutionary approach to EMIS-X, this will mean that functionality will be added gradually so that you can adopt the new features at a reasonable pace without feeling the need to have to retrain on a completely brand-new system from day one.
The new technology will sit alongside EMIS Web, so all of the features you are familiar with will remain in place whilst enabling you to start using the new EMIS-X functionality at the same time.
We want to ensure that launch and onboarding runs smoothly, and that users are engaged and adopt the new features in the best possible way.
