EMIS-X is now available to all GP practices in England

The EMIS-X companion app has been rolled out across the country
EMIS-X® is now live for all practices across England, meaning that 3,745 practices and 232,000 individual users now have access to our new cloud-based technology platform.
The EMIS-X companion app has been designed to enhance and expand upon the capabilities of EMIS Web® and introduces new features including a range of clinical views, instant messenger, news feed and single-sign-on to Enlivio Go. The impact this will have on the everyday workflows and processes for our users is going to be profound; removing clicks, cutting back on repetitive tasks, saving valuable time and reducing daily frustrations for healthcare teams.

The future of health technology
The new companion app sits alongside EMIS Web so our users will able to familiarise themselves with the EMIS-X user interface and benefit from new functionality whilst maintaining the rich clinical features of EMIS Web.

The evolution continues
Over time EMIS-X will grow and expand in capability until it ultimately replaces EMIS Web, this is why it is really important that the transition for users is smooth and gradual. EMIS-X will provide a foundational platform for us to deliver enhancements quicker and easier over the coming weeks, months and beyond.
